The 2026 Youth Summit is a free event, for students aged 16-18. We are inviting teachers to sign up a maximum of 10 students to bring along to Energy Transition Skills Hub in October, to participate in this novel event focused on student voice.
Scotlands 2026 Youth Summit, the first of its kind to run in Scotland, invites young people for a day of discovery, debate and inspirational speakers explore the topic of the 2026 Christmas Lectures.
The day supports Curriculum for Excellence, giving pupils an opportunity to develop critical thinking, communication and evaluation skills, consider different perspectives and confidently express their own views.
Most importantly, their voices will be heard – discussions from the Youth Summits will help inform the Royal Institution’s 2026 Christmas Lectures.
