 Join the staff at the Institute of Medical Science at Foresterhill for a fascinating tour of the microscopic world. Electron microscopes can magnify objects thousands of times and enable scientists to see individual pathogens – as well as the hairs on a spider's legs.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to see a demonstration of the recently installed Scanning Electron Microscope.

The largest visualisation room used by Shell in Aberdeen, the Sphere has an impressive immersion screen 9 metres long, by 3 metres high. Find out how 3D stereo models are used in the Oil and Gas industry. You will wear 3D goggles to view the stereo graphics, learn about this history of stereo viewing, and see how you can use stereo graphics on your own PCs.
