A few words from our Joint Principal Funders:
BP and Shell are proud to once again return as the Joint Principal Funders of TechFest In September, Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland's annual festival of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Despite the current difficult economic climate we remain commited to the vital work of capturing and nurturing the public's awareness in STEM activities at all levels and at all ages, in order to enthuse, inspire and maintain awareness in later years.
We are therefore delighted to continue to support TechFest In September's Public Programme as it fully emphasises opportunities for the whole community to engage in STEM activity by participating in a wide variety of presentations, workshops, shows, visits and tours. All activities are specifically programmed to have broad public appeal, to engage and entertain as well as to inform.
Our continued sponsorship of the TechFest In September programme is not only a genuine commitment to the future development of our industry, but also represents a positive investment in a STEM-literate nation.
