TechFest is Aberdeen and North-East Scotland's annual festival of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). The Festival aims to promote STEM subjects to young people and to the wider community by providing an accessible, diverse and entertaining programme. TechFest Science Festival is highly regarded as a key event within education, industry and the wider community, and is well supported by the Scottish Government, Local Authorities, Industry and Further Education Establishments.

2015 will be the 22nd Anniversary for TechFest. We are planning an ambitious programme of activities and look forward to welcoming around 22,000 participants. This year we will be extending our Silver Science, Cerebral and Discovery Series as well as introducing new strands of events for our younger audience members.

Over the years TechFest has engaged the public's interest with topics from Algebra to Zoology and as diverse as Genetics to the Science behind brewing.  We have welcomed speakers such as Jean-Michel Cousteau and Professor Sue Black, while for our younger audience there have been visits from Dr Bunhead and Simon Mayo.

TechFest SetPoint would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that supported and took part in the festival this year. We hope that we can continue this success for 2015.
