
National Science and Engineering Week (NSEW) is a ten day programme of science, engineering and technology events and activities across the UK aimed at people of all ages, which is now in its 17th year!
As part of this years' national programme TechFest-SetPoint is pleased to participate in two events in the local area;
Science at the Square
10am - 4pm, Union Square, Aberdeen City Centre
Union Square will be the backdrop for some fantastic events to celebrate this year's launch weekend for National Science and Engineering Week in the North East.
TechFest-SetPoint will be running Kid K'Nex for younger children and offering the opportunity to be a real life chemist using materials found in your kitchen.
There will also be the chance to meet science-busking researchers from the University of Aberdeen who will be mingling with shoppers.
All activities are free and will run throughout the day.

Free Admission to the Cosmic Dome to celebrate National Science and Engineering Week
TechFest-SetPoint are delighted to offer FREE admission to Scotlands fascinating Cosmic Dome at Birnam Arts and Conference Centre,Dunkeld ,Perthshire.
The Cosmic Dome is a mobile planetarium that offers children and adults a fascinating and fun insight into the world of astronomy.
Dundee Astronomical Society will also be attending the event showing the night sky through an exciting range of telescopes.
