Polymer Study Tour 2009

'There will be three summer schools for teachers this year that will focus on plastics and rubber technology, product design and recycling.

The three and a half day residential courses are held in university laboratories and visits are made to local firms where plastics are processed. The lectures cover how plastics are made, processed and finally disposed of. The lab sessions enable teachers to operate machines and make and break plastic and rubber articles.

The course qualifies for CPD.�
