Government Minister to Celebrate Pupils’ Achievements
The Go4SET Celebration and Assessment Day (CAD)in Aberdeen is taking place on Friday 29th February 2008 at the Aberdeen Beach Ballroom. The Guest of Honour is Maureen Watt MSP, Minister for Schools and Skills, who will present the certificates and prizes to the pupils.
Seven teams of six S2 pupils in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire have been working with a teacher and mentors from industry over a 10-week period, on a challenging Go4SET environmental "Energy in Your School" project. The project is now coming to its conclusion and the pupils will be attending the Celebration and Assessment Day at the Beach Ballroom to display and demonstrate their individual projects to a group of assessors, compete for prizes and the Go4SET trophy.
