Electric atmosphere at Shell Greenpower

The 11th to 13th of June saw the return of the Shell GreenPower Scottish Final to the racetrack at Alford Transport Museum. The Shell Greenpower Challenge is an opportunity for groups of students to design and build an electric powered racing car and the finals is their opportunity to drive the car and race against other teams from around the country.

Thanks to further sponsorship from Shell, more primary and secondary schools continue to register to take part in the challenge, resulting in a staggering 26 Goblin cars and 20 F24 cars�participating�in the 2010 challenge.� The 2010 Final events took place over�3 days :-

Friday 11th, Primary School Goblin Final
Saturday 12th, Newcomers F24 Final
Sunday13th, Veterans F24 Final
