New MD for TechFest-SetPoint

Yvonne McLellan has been appointed as Managing Director of TechFest-SetPoint, effective from 1^ST February 2010.

�Yvonne has been with TechFest-SetPoint for a year and a half now and is already well known to many of our partners, sponsors and clients. Originally from Northern Ireland, she lived for ten years in Canada before moving to Aberdeenshire in 1997. She comes from a background in science teaching, clinical science and research with a particular emphasis on physics.

�Yvonne takes over from Liz Hodge, who will maintain contact with TechFest-SetPoint as a consultant.

�As she moved into her new role, Yvonne said 'It is an enormous privilege to take on the role of Managing Director in this amazing organisation and with this incredibly effective group of people. I am excited by the opportunities ahead and know that, together, the TechFest-SetPoint team along with our partners and sponsors will continue to inspire young people about STEM in the North East and across Scotland.' �
