Numeracy Week

�� FUNMATHS ROADSHOW is a collection of 25 mathematical activities for use with school pupils from P4 � P7.�

Designed to celebrate the centenary of the Liverpool Mathematical Society and delivered by

TechFest-Setpoint this exciting 'Numeracy Week' package aims to

��increase understanding of maths

��gain confidence

��challenge pupils

Part One

This 'Numeracy Week' package includes an introductory day, which involves 5 FUNMATHS workshops led by an experienced TechFest-SetPoint presenter, providing an opening to the puzzles for all staff and pupils.

Part Two

During the week pupils and staff have the opportunity to use the puzzles left in school for use in class and at lunchtimes.�

Part Three

The 'Numeracy Week' ends with an afternoon maths challenge. The challenges are open to all classes to nominate their competitors for specific puzzles practised during the week.�

The format of the challenge is chosen and facilitated by the school.
